السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Hi everyone 👋
How are you guys doing? Is everything fine? As for me; I'm doing fine, Alhamdulillah :')
As for today, I'm going to share with you guys, "My Life As A Student" and as stated in my biodata, I'm an ARCOM's student at IIUM Pagoh. Firstly, talking about how's my life as a student; I do understand how all of the students out there are struggling with their online based learning right now because I'm also struggling with it.....
In my personal point of view, I think the online based learning is quite challenging. It is because, I need to manage my time properly and well organized or else, I can't manage all the classes and assignments schedule on time. I also need to prepare my own study area, so that I can focus more in my classes. Also, I need to motivate myself to always be prepared before the classes begin because I believe the preparation before the classes begin also will make me more focus in the online classes. The other challenges that I need to face during this online based learning are I need to make sure that all my family members understand my situation and also, I need to make sure that my internet's line or Wi-Fi is doing good during my online classes. If the internet's line is not in a good state, then I can't joining my online classes with ease. It is quite hard.......but we need to be patience and always inform our lecturers about our situation if we can't join their classes because of the internet line :')
We need to adapt with this new norm because as we know, the cases of Covid-19 in Malaysia still higher day by day. But, I do believe that this virus will slowly disappear because our frontliners are doing their very best to our country. Thank you to all the frontliners out there! <3
I always pray that this Covid-19 virus will disappear one day and we can do the face-to-face learning again, like our old good days before because I miss Pagoh so much. Also, I miss my friends and lecturers so much :"(
I'm missing this vibe so much! There are so many beautiful places in Pagoh and I'm so excited to go back to KLM next semester! & back to my topic, I think there is something that we as a student have to remember which is, even though we are in online based learning, we also need to apply all the good manners of a student while studying. First thing first, we must seeking the knowledge because of Allah SWT not for the worldly gain (1). There is a hadith that stated:
عن أبي هريرة قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من تعلم علما مما يبتغى به وجه الله عز وجل لا يتعلمه إلا ليصيب به عرضا من الدنيا لم يجد عرف الجنة يوم القيامة يعني ريحها
Abu Hurairah said that: "The Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) said, 'Whoever acquires knowledge by which the pleasure of Allah (should be) sought, but he only acquires it for the purpose of worldly gain, then he will not smell the fragrance of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection'.
(Narrated in Sunan Ibnu Majah : Hadis Hasan)
As we know, seeking knowledge is an obligatory upon every Muslim and the knowledge that we seek should be aim to seek Allah's pleasure because the person who learns with a sincere intention and for akhirah, surely he will enter the Paradise. Besides, we also need to respect our lecturers by attending all the classes on time, we must always be prepared by focusing on the lectures and we must always be enthusiastic in order to gain more knowledge. Rasulullah SAW also has taught us a du'a that we can read it in every morning before the class started, to acquire an useful knowledge:
اللهم إني أسألك علما نافعا ورزقا طيبا وعملا متقبلا
This du'a is very simple yet it is full of deep meaning. I hope we can remembering this du'a and recite it in every single morning. Also, I pray that all of you will be in a good condition during this online based learning despite of all the challenges that we need to go through. We can do this! I pray for everyone successful in dunya and akhirat, Aamin Ya Rabbal Alamin. Till next time :')
مع السلامة، وإلى اللقاء! بارك الله فيكم ويسهل لنا كل أمورنا. آمين.
